Creating an artificial ecosystem
Your task is to use the plants and objects provided to you to create an artificial wetland ecosystem which will be as self-sustaining as possible. Over 8 weeks you will monitor and record observations about the ecosystem and then present your findings to the class in a 5-minute presentation
4. Present your findings
1. Work out as a group how you are going to present your findings
You need to present your findings to the rest of the class using any medium of presentation. Ensure to choose a way your groups can get your information needed delivered in 5 minutes. Use the rubric below to ensure you get top marks!

WHAT YOU WANT TO CONSIDER IN YOUR ECOSYSTEM:
1. Vegetation: The main vegetation in marshes is grass. Swamps support woody shrubs and hard- or softwood trees such as cypress, sweet-gum and red maple trees. The main vegetation in bogs is evergreen trees, shrubs and moss. consider having some moss, small grasses and plants in your ecosystem
2. A marsh/water body for small invertebrates to live and for a water supply for vegetation.
3. A dry area: Wetlands usually have surrounding dry land with grasses and soil as many animals and plants are needing both wet and dry conditions to survive.
